• β-mannose decomposesβ-D-mannose in legumes and their by-products, coconut meal, palm meal and other feeds by internal digestion, degrades β -1, 4-glycoside bonds, and the non-reducing end of degradation products is mannose oligosaccharide, whose substrates include β- mannose, galactomannan and glucomannan.
